Following his dramatic win over Abhishek Manu Singhvi in the Rajya Sabha election, Harsh Mahajan today said that the Congress was falling apart in the whole country and the same would happen in the state as well. “A person like me, who was in the Congress for 45 years, had to leave. The party will be finished soon,” he said.

Mahajan said that the Congress government had started attacking its own MLAs, instead of attacking the Opposition. “The result is in front of all of us,” he said.

Mahajan also threw his weight behind Vikramaditya Singh, who resigned as the PWD Minster from the Council of Ministers today. “He took the right decision. It’s so unfortunate that the Congress government could not spare some land to erect a statue of late Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh. ,” he said.

“It is just a matter of time before the Congress government falls. They are just delaying the inevitable,” Mahajan added.
