These findings were shared by the EMRI ambulance services who have been tracking these calls in the last one month. Day-wise respiratory emergencies have been on the increase since March 16, when 30 calls were received. Thereafter, such calls have been constantly increasing everyday with a maximum of 58 calls having been received on March 29 though some decline was noticed after that on March 30 when only 37 calls were received from across the state. Day-wise fever emergency calls also registered an increase from April 16 when only 39 calls were received but the number rose rapidly from March 22 from 57 calls to 107 calls by March 26.

Chief Executive Officer Mehul Sukumaran said they were providing speedy services to all such people by taking into consideration all medical protocols.
