Two inmates of Prem Ashram, a Rehabilitation Home for Special Children in Una were on Monday felicitated at the campus for their outstanding performance at the Special Olympics Bharat National Championship for held in Delhi from September 24 to 27.

Prem Ashram Principal, Sister Sanjana said 210 athletes from 21 states had participated in the games. She said nine athletes representing Special Olympics Himachal Pradesh participated in these games, which included five men and four women athletes. Besides, two coaches also accompanied the athletes to Delhi.

In all, the Special Olympics Himachal Pradesh team won three gold, three silver and two bronze medals. Prem Ashram Manager Sister Neelam said Kusum and Harshit, the two athletes from Prem Ashram, who won a silver medal each, were felicitated at the Prem Ashram campus today.
