Seven-year-old Sargun can name the capitals of 150 countries in a record 1 minute and 13 seconds. A no mean feat at her age, this has earned her a place in the India Book of Records.

Daughter of Sourav Chouhan, a resident of Kandwal in Nurpur, Sargun was recently honoured by the functionaries of the India Book of Records.

The Class II student had exceptional memory even before she was enrolled in a private school. Her father Sourav, who works in a private company in Gurugram, said they had submitted her online form to the India Book of Records. He said Sargun was also taking an online classes for general knowledge. The father claimed that her exceptional memory was a God gift to her.

The India Book of Records has been the custodian of Indian records since 2006. It has a team of 50 adjudicators, which ensures that record-setters reach their goal by following all rules as per the International Protocol for New Records guidelines.
