Education Minister Rohit Thakur inaugurated a community hall built at a cost of Rs 12 lakh at Baoli village, during his one-day visit to Jubbal subdivision. The minister expressed his gratitude to people of Badhal panchayat for their support and spoke about development work done in the area during his tenure.

The minister said seven roads had been successfully passed and two roads had been constructed at a cost of Rs 2.27 crore and Rs 17 crore, respectively. He also inaugurated a volleyball tournament, and announced a grant of Rs 50,000 for the local youth club. The minister emphasised the importance of education and announced to establish a teacher training institute in Jubbal.

He also emphasised the importance of sports in youth development and announced initiatives to promote sports in the area.

The minister interacted with locals and addressed their concerns.
