Education Minister Rohit Thakur today laid the foundation stone of the veterinary dispensary building (pic) to be constructed at Pujarli-4 panchayat of the Nawar area at a cost of 98 lakh. The demand for a veterinary dispensary was being made by the people of the area for a long time.

In his address, Thakur said several development works had been done in the Nawar area in the last two years. “If we talk about roads, about 80 per cent of the roads in the Nawar area have metalled, and the remaining roads would be metalled soon,” he said. He assured to get the provision of budget for the boundary wall in Government Senior Secondary MLA Pujarli-4 as soon as possible.

The Education Minister also performed the Bhoomi Pujan of Sharontha-Karali-Kalgaon Teer road, which will be upgraded at a cost of Rs 7.5 crore under the MLA priority scheme. While addressing the local public in Sharontha, the minister said Tikkar subdivision was known for the bad roads during the previous BJP government, but now the Tikkar sub-division and the entire Nawar region have good and metalled roads under the current Congress government.
