Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan reviewed action taken on key decisions of the previous meeting of the high-powered committee of Himachal Pradesh Bulk Drug Park Infrastructure Limited here today. He presided over the 10th meeting of the high-powered committee.

The committee also addressed the pre-bidding questions of various bidders, who attended the meeting virtually. The queries related to the tender of designing, construction, supplying, testing and commissioning of the common steam, which includes turbine power generation and steam distribution network.

The minister said that the aim of the park was to establish world-class, common infrastructure facilities, which would lower manufacturing costs, boost competitiveness and promote self-reliance in the pharmaceutical sector while generating employment opportunities. He emphasised the state government’s commitment to addressing investors' concerns to ensure seamless project execution. With queries now resolved, the bidding process is anticipated to progress swiftly.
