The body of a missing man was recovered from the Manjhi khud near Darhi in Dharamsala on Saturday.

The police identified the deceased as Anil Kumar (48), a resident of Khaniyara village located upstream of the rivulet. Anil had gone missing on Thursday, following which his family lodged a report at Dharamsala police station.

An inquiry suggested that Anil was suffering from mental distress, as disclosed by his family. The body was sent to the Zonal Hospital for a post-mortem.
