Sanjogta was last seen in the CCTV footage on June 19 around 7 PM near a building in Kanlog area. Since then, the investigation team had been actively conducting a search operation in the area. Today, the police team spotted a body of a woman in a nallah. Upon investigating, the police learnt that the body was of Sanjogta. The body was then taken to IGMC for postmortem.

Shimla ASP Rattan Negi said as per the family members, the deceased was suffering from dementia, which is believed to be the reason for her wandering off from the hospital.
