A meeting of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) was held at the Dehra Civil Hospital under the chairmanship of local MLA Kamlesh Thakur. Discussions focused on ongoing health schemes, with an estimated budget of Rs 57.06 lakh presented for the current financial year. The MLA emphasised improving healthcare facilities and assured that any shortcomings in the hospital would be addressed.

Thakur directed hospital authorities to ensure cleanliness and enhance health services in the Dehra Assembly constituency. She highlighted the government’s commitment to free treatment and medicines for all citizens, aiming to develop modern health infrastructure in the region. She reiterated that health and education remain top priorities.

Earlier, at the Mini Secretariat, Dehra, Thakur distributed assistance cheques worth Rs 9.81 lakh to 42 beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Relief Fund. She emphasised that the overall development of the constituency is her and the Chief Minister’s priority, ensuring that government schemes benefit the needy.

The meeting was attended by Dehra SDM Shilpi Beakta, BMO Sanjay Bajaj, Executive Engineer PWD Suresh Walia, BDC chairperson Archana Kumari, Pradhan Vyapar Mandal Malkiyat Singh Parmar, Nagar Parishad President Sunita Devi and other officials.
