The team is checking the academic structure of the college to assess its grading. The team included Dr Vishnu Charan Barik, Dr Johnny Johnson and Dr Alok Kumar. College Principal Dr Pankaj Basotia welcomed the NAAC team and gave a detailed presentation on the progress, achievements, academic and co-academic activities of the college.
Apart from this, the heads and faculty members of various departments also gave presentations related to the activities of their respective departments, research work and achievements of the students.
During the inspection, the team took stock of the infrastructure, library, laboratories, sports facilities and other resources of the college. The team interacted with teachers, non-teaching staff and students and got information about their experiences and the academic environment of the college.
After this, the team held a special meeting with the Parent-Teacher Association, Alumni Association and students of the college. The purpose of the inspection was to assess the academic quality, administrative efficiency and overall development of the college. This visit was extremely important for the accreditation of the college. The final report and grading of the NAAC team will have a direct impact on the further development plans of the college.
