National BJP president JP Nadda arrived here this evening to lay the foundation stone of BJP state-level party office tomorrow. The state BJP will felicitate Nadda for massive victory in the Bihar Assembly elections at a function which is expected to be attended by a large number of people from across the state.

As per the sources, the BJP will use the occasion to counter the charges levelled by the Congress during its Jan Sankalp rally in Mandi on Thursday, where the Chief Minister and other senior ministers accused the BJP of burying the state under massive debt and the Centre not giving required assistance to cope up with the disaster.

Criticising the Congress government, Bindal said that their three years in power had been spent only in criticising the BJP. “The government’s public programmes have failed to address the people’s issues and have been reduced to mudslinging and baseless allegations against the BJP,” he said.

The BJP leadership believes that the foundation-laying ceremony of the new office will give a new energy to the party’s organisation and Nadda’s felicitation ceremony will give a new direction to the state’s politics.
