Naina Choujar, ex-Block Samiti chairperson and scion of the Nalagarh royal family in Himachal Pradesh, joined AAP along with her supporters on Sunday.
AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal inducted Choujar into the party. Also present at the occasion was AAP’s Himachal co-incharge and Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak who welcomed Choujar and her followers into the party. Choujar was instrumental in establishing various NGOs in the city for the welfare of the public. Her uncle Vijender Singh has been a four-time MLA and minister in the state.
Welcoming Choujar in the party, Kejriwal said: “Together we will work for the betterment of Himachal”.
After joining AAP, Choujar said that she joined the AAP after being impressed by the work-oriented politics of Kejriwal.
