At least 36 passengers had a narrow escape after a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus caught fire and was completely gutted near Housing Board Colony, Upper Dakolar, in Rampur Bushahr, Shimla district. The incident occurred around 11:30 am when the bus engine suddenly caught fire, which quickly spread. Fortunately, all passengers managed to exit safely before the flames intensified.
