Him Sports and Cultural Association, Shimla, president Naresh Chauhan here today extended an invitation to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to the upcoming Sadbhavana T-20 Cricket Cup Tournament, scheduled to be held in Shimla on November 16-17.

The event is being organised in collaboration with the HP AIDS Control Society under the theme ‘Nasha Chhoro, Khel Khelo’. The Chief Minister commended the association for organising the tournament for such a noble cause, adding that the state government was taking stringent measures against drug abuse and ensuring strict action against drug peddlers.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind.
