The National Highway 5 will remain shut for all vehicles from 8 pm till 5 am in the morning at Nigulsari in Kinnaur district till further orders in view of the landslides and shooting stones at the spot.

Kinnaur DC Amit Kumar has instructed Superintendent of Police to deploy adequate force to regulate traffic on landslide-prone spots. He has further instructed Bhawanagar SDM to ensure proper lighting on the affected stretch to ensure safety.

Currently, the NH 5 is blocked at Nigulsari, and sliding point at Nathpa.
