Una, December 29

A national integration camp, organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, was today inaugurated at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pekhubela, in Una district by Rural Devlopment Minister Virender Kanwar.

As many as 270 youngsters from 15 states of the country are participating in the five-day camp during which they will not only exchange their language, culture and traditions, but will also take part in various activities like preparing traditional cuisines, besides participating in games, declamation and rangoli contests and quiz.

Kanwar said such events helped propagate national integration and prompted the youth towards service to the humanity and dedication towards the country. He called upon the youth to actively participate in the camp. At the function, the participants presented cultural items.
