Saini stated a wide range of cases — both civil and criminal — can be brought before the Lok Adalat for amicable resolution. These include cases under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, money recovery matters, labour disputes and problems relating to electricity and water bills, as well as maintenance claims and other compoundable disputes.
