Navodaya management panel meeting held

A school management committee meeting was held today at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sarol, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal.

During the meeting, the DC reviewed various matters and directed the local school management to prepare a revised estimate for the construction of a safety wall along the Ravi river near the girls’ hostel and submit it to the headquarters of the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

Repaswal conducted a review of water supply to the school and instructed the school management to prepare a plan for the construction of an additional drinking water storage tank. He also directed the officials from the Jal Shakti Department to take necessary steps in this regard.

The DC emphasised the need to ensure quality in the ongoing construction activities on the school premises. He advised collaboration with officials from the Public Works Department and technical members of the Parent-Teacher Association for quality checks.

During the meeting, the DC also conducted a comprehensive review of matters related to land transfer, construction of safety wall, the sports field and holding of medical camps.

Following the meeting, he inspected the school premises and various hostels, providing necessary instructions to the local school management and concerned department officials.

Earlier, principal Vinod Tripathi conducted the proceedings of the meeting and presented a detailed report on various activities and achievements of the students.
