A delegation from the Nawar region of the Jubbal-Kotkhai Assembly constituency in Shimla district called on Education Minister Rohit Thakur in Dharamsala today.

Expressing gratitude to the Education Minister for announcing a four-year Integrated BEd course at Government College, Tikkar, the delegation said the decision would significantly strengthen educational standards. The delegation further lauded the decision to bring 100 schools under CBSE, which would enhance the quality of education.

The delegation also submitted various demands concerning local development to the Education Minister.
