New Year devotion: Thousands flock to Gurdwara Paonta Sahib
The historic Gurdwara Paonta Sahib witnessed a massive influx of devotees and tourists on New Year Day. Thousands from Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Delhi, UP and abroad gathered to seek blessings and begin the year with prayers.
Renowned for its spiritual and historical significance, Gurdwara Paonta Sahib holds a revered place in Sikhism. It was here that Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Sikh Guru, spent over four years, making the site sacred and a symbol of religious harmony.

The Gurdwara Management Committee ensured smooth arrangements, including accommodations and langar, to provide comfort for the influx of visitors. Special measures were taken to manage the crowd and assist devotees traveling long distances.
