Kangra, March 1

NIFT-Kangra organised an alumni meet in the auditorium of Centre for Advance Textile Studies. The event coincided with ‘Spectrum 2020’. It was attended by more than 50 former students.

Director, NIFT-Kangra, Akaksh Dewanagan said some of their students were into their own business while some were working as designer and merchandiser in Delhi, Bangalore and other major fashion hubs in the country.

He said it was indeed a proud moment seeing their students excelling in various fields. Dewanagan said such events provided a platform to students to gain knowledge from the pass-outs.

He said some of the students had visited their alma mater after a decade and happy seeing improved infrastructure and the new buildings. The institute director said they also received valuable suggestions from them.
