The National Institute of Technology (NIT) recently concluded a three-month advanced artificial intelligence course for BTech students in physics and photonics science. The course, organized by the student-led organization Unisole, offered a comprehensive curriculum, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of AI.

The initiative, spearheaded by students Ajay Mokta, Shabd Patel, and Dishant Gupta, aimed to bridge the digital divide and empower underprivileged students. Over 70 students from various states, including Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar, participated in the free course.

The course was part of NIT’s broader commitment to advancing AI education and fostering innovation. By providing such opportunities, the institute aims to equip young minds with the necessary skills to excel in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
