A seven-day NSS camp, encompassing various social welfare activities, concluded at Government Degree College (GDC), Jainagar, this evening. Principal Dr Anjana Sood graced the event as the chief guest. The ceremony commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony and was followed by the NSS theme song, which was presented by volunteers. NSS unit leader Bharti Thakur presented the report of the seven-day camp while encapsulating various activities undertaken by the young volunteers.

The volunteers also presented cultural programmes on the occasion. Babita and Bharti, both third-year students, were adjudged the best volunteers.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Sood said NSS camps continued to engage participants in various activities aimed at community welfare, self-improvement, and social outreach.

Programme Officer Prof Jayant Sharma expressed gratitude to the chief guest, staff members, and all volunteers for their enthusiastic participation in the event. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
