Nurpur: Sania Sudan (21), a resident of Nurpur, has topped the LLB entrance examination conducted by Himachal Pradesh University. As many as 815 students had appeared for the entrance examination for 180 seats. Sania’s father Ashwani Sudan said she did her Class X from DAV Public School and Class XII from Him Academy Public School, Hamirpur. She completed her graduation from St. Beed’s College in Shimla. Decision on smart meters opposed

Shimla: The CPM has opposed the decision to install smart meters. The party also reiterated its objection to the Electricity (Amendment) Bill, 2022. Demanding the withdrawal of the decision to install smart meters and Electricity Bill, the party said these decisions would destroy the power board and the distribution of electricity would go to private players.
