As an ode to ‘Dream Girl’ actress Hema Malini, singer and Malini’s teacher Gagan Singh Jamwal yesterday released his song ‘Hamari Dream Girl’ on his YouTube channel.

In an event organised at his native village of Kuther in Nurpur, Jamwal’s father released the song.

Jamwal, who holds a PhD in music, has been giving music lessons to Malini in Mumbai for over a decade.

In her autobiography, Malini regarded Jamwal as her Guru. After the launch of the song, Malini, on social media site X, expressed her gratitude to Jamwal for the song.

Some of his most popular songs include 'Chakki Par Dhamaka’, ‘Nakhron’ and ‘Roses and Balsh.

The video has been shot at various locations in Shimla.
