A vibrant and joyous Fancy Dress Activity was organised for Nursery students of the EEDP branch at DAV Centenary Public School, Jawahar Nagar, Mandi, on September 18 and 19. The two-day event was a delightful showcase of creativity, confidence and imagination, filling the school premises with cheer.

A total of 69 children participated — 35 from Nursery Acorn and 34 from Nursery Olive. Dressed in imaginative costumes, the little ones portrayed a wide range of characters and concepts, including Rani of Jhansi, Bhagat Singh, Bharat Mata, Hulk, police officer, Goddess Durga, astronaut, clock, sunflower, Lord Shiva, Spiderman, teacher, tricolour and many more. Their confident stage presence and enthusiasm captivated the audience.

The activity not only entertained but also helped enhance the students’ self-confidence, communication and performance skills, proving how early childhood programmes foster holistic development.

Conducted under the guidance of Principal Kuldeep Guleria, the event drew praise from teachers and parents alike, who appreciated the initiative and were delighted to see the young ones perform with such poise.
