All India Congress Committee (AICC) spokesperson Kuldeep Rathore has termed the absence of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh’s photographs at the state government’s function in Mandi on Thursday a mistake and demanded an apology for the lapse.

“The organising committee should have spotted that Virbhadra Singh’s photograph was missing. It’s a mistake and the organising committee should apologise for it,” said Rathore, the MLA from the Theog Assembly constituency. He further said that the contribution of the late Chief Minister to the development of the state was huge and his photograph should have been put up at the venue.

While addressing the mediapersons, Rathore hit out at the BJP for constructing grand party office across the country. BJP national president JP Nadda will lay the foundation stone of state party office in Shimla tomorrow. “The BJP is constructing grand party offices everywhere. Can the BJP tell us the source of its funds? The Congress could not build party offices despite being in power for so long. How come the BJP is doing it? asked Rathore.
