The minister gave away the award for Excellence and Leadership in Global Education to Shoolini University, one of the leading private universities. Prof Prem Kumar Khosla, Chancellor of Shoolini University, received the award. ICFAI University was honoured for being a Trusted University of the Region and its Registrar Dr Bharat Bhushan received the award.
HP State Cooperative Bank was honoured with the award for Excellence in Banking in Himachal Pradesh. Its Chairman Devender Singh Shyam received the award.
BL Central Public School, Karsog, was given the award for being a Leading Education Service Provider School in Rural Sector of the State; Aspire IIT and Medical Academy was given the Academic Excellence Award for JEE and NEET Preparation; Doon Valley School, Nalagarh, for Emerging School in the Region Nalagarh; Rainbow International School, Nagrota Bagwan, for Pioneer in Education; The Scholar’s Home School, Paonta Sahib, for Emerging School in the Region Paonta Sahib; Himachal Academy Public School, Hamirpur, for Innovation in Education; Edupace Institute, Una, for Pioneer Coaching Institute of JEE and NeET in Una; and MCM DAV College, Kangra, was honoured for Outstanding Vision Dynamic Leadership and Pioneering Contribution to Education.
Delhi Public School, Shimla, was honoured for being an Emerging School in Shimla and its Pro Vice-Chairman Anil Walia received the award. Kasauli International Public School, Sanwara, was honoured for being an Emerging School in the Region (Kasauli) and its Managing Director Hira Thakur received the award.
Kapoor Nursing Home, Solan, was honoured for Excellence and Leadership in Robotic and Laparoscopy Gynaecology Surgery and Gynae Laproscopic Surgeon Dr Amrish Kapoor received the award. Cure Tech Group was awarded for being a Leading Pharmaceutical Industry of the Region and its Managing Director Sumit Singha received the award. Also, Lord Mahavira Nursing College and Hospital was given the award for being a Trusted Brand in Nursing Education and Patient Care.
Excel Marketing Corporation, Shimla, was given the award for Excellence in IT and Security Service, while Nagsons Hip Hip Hurray Nagsons Montana and Nagsons Vedanta got the award for Luxury Builder and Adventure Amusement Park. Tangri Jewellers, Shimla, was honoured for Excellence in Jewellery and Atul Tangri received the award. SV Jewellers, Solan, was honoured for Legacy and Innovation in Indian Jewellery Craft.
The Glide Inn, Junga, was given the award in the Preferred Destination for Paragliding and Ecotourism category and its CEO Arun Rawat received the award. Puri ESS ENN Agencies were honoured for being a Leading Distributor of Crockeries and Household Items and Siddharth Puri received the award.
The minister also gave away the Himachal Achievers Award to the SJVNL; New Light and Sound, Shimla; Kawasaki Advertisers, Shimla; and Hampton Homes.
The AlBasir Group of Industries was honoured for Ultimate Kashmiri Arts and its Director Sheikh Abdul Rouf received the award.
