A video of a speeding car meeting with an accident has gone viral on social media.

The car, with loud music on, was being driven on the Mandi-Pathankot highway on Sunday evening when it fell off the road.

According to Gumeet Bedi, its owner, as he drove a few kilometres away from Mandi near Bijni, the steering wheel of the car suddenly got locked. As a result, he could not negotiate the curve and the car fell off the road into the courtyard of a house.

The owner’s friend sitting next to him was filming the video when the accident happened and it kept recording even after the fall. After they moved out of the car, the friend continued with the recording catching the entire event on camera.

Bedi said he and his friend escaped unhurt. However, the car was badly damaged.
