Star performer Ajay Chauhan mesmerised the audience with his energetic renditions of folk and popular songs during the second cultural evening of the International Kullu Dussehra festival yesterday. The event was a celebration of Himachali culture, with several renowned local artistes setting the stage on fire with their performances.

Chauhan enthralled the crowd with hits like ‘Jhoothe Tere Vaade,’ ‘Jhumka Jhumka’ and ‘Nati Ra Chaska.’ Folk singer Dharmender Sharma kept the audience dancing with traditional natis such as ‘Kullu Deshe Ri Kahani’, and ‘Tere Nakhre Ho Ho’. Twinkle and Rajeev Negi added to the festive spirit with their melodious mix of Pahari and Bollywood songs.

The evening commenced with a traditional Kullvi nati, highlighting the region’s rich cultural heritage. Lahaul-Spiti MLA Anuradha Rana and Women Commission Chairperson Vidya Negi were the chief guests. Local artistes like Vipin Kumar, Tamanna Thakur, Chaman Thakur (on flute), and the Twinkle Sharma and Group delivered powerful performances.
