Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya, Palampur, has added another feather to its cap as the Indian Society for Veterinary Immunology and Biotechnology has selected Subhash Verma, Professor, Department of Veterinary Microbiology, Dr GC Negi College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, for the ISVIB Fellow Award-2025.

The award will be conferred upon Verma during the 30th Annual Convention of the ISVIB and International Conference (VIBCON-2025) to be held at the ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Mukteshwar, from November 6 to 8.

VC AK Panda congratulated Verma on this achievement and lauded his contributions to veterinary microbiology, immunology and biotechnology, particularly in the field of infectious diseases of ruminants. He said that such national-level recognitions enhanced the university’s reputation for excellence in veterinary education and research.
