Palampur varsity wins national award
Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSK HPKV), Palampur, received the prestigious "Best Centre Award" at the National Group Meeting of the All-India Coordinated Research Project on Forage Crops and Utilisation, held at the Southern Regional Research Station, Dharwad.
Among 21 centres, CSK HPKV was recognised for its outstanding work in varietal improvement, high-yield fodder technologies and effective field dissemination.
These efforts have notably enhanced fodder productivity, livestock health,and rural livelihoods. The award was presented under the aegis of the Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute, Jhansi.
