Palampur youth gets best jury award

For film 'Mobile School'

Raveesh Mrigendra, a resident of Palampur and director of short film ‘Mobile School’, received the best jury award at the recently concluded film festival at Dharamsala. The film festival was organised by Him Cine Society. Only 27 films out of 40 applications were screened.  The award was announced by film artist Rajendra Rajan in the memory of his late son Abhishek Rajan, carrying a sum of Rs 11,000. Raveesh said film festivals must be organised regularly in the state to motivate the youngsters like him to do better.
‘Mobile School’ is a story of a teacher and student during the Covid-19 pandemic, depicting online education’s challenges in the Himalayas. The award was presented by actor Manoj Joshi in the presence of MLA Sudheer Sharma.
