Parents held a demonstration outside DAV School, New Shimla, protesting the decision to charge fees for the entire year. The parents, in their letter to the principal, stated that since students did not attend the school physically even for a day and they had to spend on new smartphones, laptops and internet connections, no annual charges and one-time fee should be taken. Besides, no fee should be charged from the children of nursery and KG classes because no online classes were held for them, they said.

Drive on Constitution concludes

Month-long activities carried out by 7 HP (1) Coy NCC, Shimla, to raise awareness about our Constitution concluded on Sunday. The cadets, drawn from various colleges of Shimla, conducted a plethora of activities such as online webinars, poster making and painting competitions, sharing short films on the Constitution to raise awareness about the Preamble and Fundamental Duties of citizens.

Varsity signs MoU with Coursera

Shoolini University has signed a MoU with Coursera, an American open online course provider. Karun Jain from Coursera said they would provide “world-class” job-relevant content, allow faculty to create project courses for students and inculcate master skills via flexible hands-on learning with guided projects. VC Atul Khosla said the MoU would help students with job-relevant contents.
