Pensioners of the Himachal Pradesh government can submit their life certificate and other required documents between July 1 and September 30, as per the provisions of the HP Treasury Rules and instructions issued by the Finance Department.

A spokesperson of the Finance Department informed today that pensioners must download the Life Certificate form from the Treasury Department’s website: http://himkosh.hp.nic.in, get it attested, and submit it at any district treasury office.

Alternatively, they can generate a Digital Life Certificate through the Jeevan Pramaan portal (www.jeevanpramaan.gov.in) using Aadhaar-based biometric authentication. Facilities for generating digital certificates are available at NIC Centres, Treasuries, and Common Service Centres equipped with biometric devices. These certificates are accepted as valid and eliminate the need for physical verification.

Pensioners who cannot use the Jeevan Pramaan portal may submit a hard copy of the Life Certificate downloaded from the Himkosh portal along with a copy of their Aadhaar card for Aadhaar seeding in the e-pension system.

Once the digital certificate is submitted, physical visits to treasuries will not be required in subsequent years. Biometric verification through Jeevan Pramaan will remain valid for one year.
