The Pinegrove School girls’ football team made a stunning impact at the Doon Cup-2025, held at Ecole Globale International Girls School in Dehradun. The team clinched both the U-14 and U-19 titles, showcasing their exceptional skills and determination.

In the U-14 category, Pinegrove dominated the competition, winning all their matches with flair. They began with a 3-1 victory over the host school, Ecole Globale, followed by a nail-biting 1-0 win against Wynberg-Allen. A remarkable 12-1 triumph over Hopetown secured their semi-final spot, where they edged out Unison World in a thrilling penalty shootout. In the final, Pinegrove delivered a flawless 3-0 performance to lift the trophy against Ecole Globale.

In the U-19 category, Pinegrove demonstrated their resilience and skill. After an early loss, they bounced back with commanding wins over Hopetown (13-0) and Him Jyoti (3-0), and a 1-1 draw with Modern School. A 3-0 semi-final win against Wynberg-Allen set up a high-stakes final against Him Jyoti, which Pinegrove won 4-2 in a dramatic penalty shootout.

Vardha Aggarwal (U-14) and Subekcha Limboo (U-19) were outstanding performers for Pinegrove, earning the Best Player of the Tournament awards in their respective categories. Their brilliance on the field was instrumental in Pinegrove'’s double championship success.
