Host Pinegrove School, Dharampur, clinched the 25th Sub-Junior Inter-Public School Hockey Tournament for boys, held at the picturesque Sant Stadium.

In a spirited display of grit, precision and teamwork, the young Pinegrovians dominated Sherwood College, Nainital, with a commanding 4-0 victory in the grand finale.

The stadium echoed with cheers as the champions not only lifted the coveted trophy but also swept the top individual honours of the tournament. Rajeshwar Singh Kahlon was declared the highest scorer; Gurshaaz Singh Thukral was named the best goalkeeper; and Jeevesh was unanimously awarded Player of the Tournament.

Mathew John, Headmaster of Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, witnessed the final match and lauded the players’ stellar performance. He also presented the awards to the winners.
