Pinegrove’s brass & pipe bands reign supreme at state-level competition

In a resounding celebration of discipline, artistry and musical excellence, the reigning champions of the State-Level Brass Band Competition and the North Zone Inter-School Brass Band Competition, Pinegrove School’s Boys’ Brass Band, were crowned champions once again.

Adding to the pride, the Girls’ Pipe Band was also given the title of “Queens of Pipe” at the State-Level Band Competition, organised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, along with the Department of School Education and Literacy, Samagra Shiksha, Himachal Pradesh.

The event, hosted at PM Shri Government Utkristh Senior Secondary School, Bhuntar (Kullu), brought together 31 schools and 843 talented participants from across Himachal Pradesh, competing in the boys’ and girls’ categories of brass and pipe bands.

Pinegrove School, Subathu, continued its undisputed dominance among 17 highly competitive brass bands. The Boys’ Brass Band soared to the top once again, securing first place with a performance defined by precision, passion and flawless coordination.

Adding to Pinegrove’s distinguished legacy, the Boys’ Brass Band from Pinegrove School, Dharampur, claimed the runners-up position, displaying exceptional skill, discipline and musical finesse.

The competition showcased outstanding performances from schools across the state, leaving an unforgettable mark on this year’s state-level musical event.
