Deputy Chief Whip and MLA Kewal Singh Pathania announced plans for the beautification of Guna Mata Mandir to promote pilgrimage and generate self-employment opportunities for locals. After offering prayers at the temple on Monday, he addressed public grievances and emphasized that improving the roads to Guna Mata Mandir and from Naddi to Balh are his top priorities. He assured residents that better transportation and tourism promotion would be implemented soon.

Pathania directed officials to prepare estimates for constructing a bridge and parking facilities in Balh, ensuring convenient vehicle parking. Additionally, the forest department has been instructed to devise a plan for developing tourist sites, with a potential ropeway for Balh-Kareeri being a key focus.

He reaffirmed his commitment to making Shahpur an ideal assembly constituency, ensuring that financial constraints would not hinder development. Pathania stated that all necessary support from Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu had been secured for Shahpur’s progress. Plans are underway to upgrade the Burnett Ghera-Kareeri-Salli-Ridkamar-Boh-Dhulara road into the Dhauladhar Expressway to boost tourism.
