The Himachal Police have warned the residents about fake emails being sent in the name of the Chief Minister from Nigeria. The police have asked the general public to report the same to the cyber police station.

The emails sent to many people, especially bureaucrats, politicians, mediapersons, says, “I need a favour from you right now. Kindly e-mail me back as soon as possible. SP Law and Order Khushal Sharma has cautioned the public about such mails and asked them not to reply as these are not generated by the CM and are being sent from Nigeria. — TNS
