At present, around 400 complaints of cybercrime are being reported across the state on a daily basis. To avoid falling victim to cyber fraudsters and scammers, the police had advised people to be vigilant and refrain from clicking unknown links and websites, besides avoiding calls and text messages from suspicious and unknown numbers.

The three cybercrime police stations in the state are located in Shimla, Mandi and Dharamsala.
