Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today inaugurated e-udyan portal and the Integrated Hybrid Structural Management System application developed under World Bank-funded HP horticulture development project for providing services of the department of horticulture here.

Under this project, beneficiaries can get registration of fruit nursery, place demand for plants, horticulture tools, purchase of pesticides, compost for mushrooms and demand for beehive. Subsidy and online application facility has also been provided for the services of horticulture sector.

The Chief Minister said this portal would also provide online processing facility for the officers of the horticulture department reducing time gap in providing services. — TNS
