Dharamsala: Due to routine maintenance work of power lines in the 33/11-KV Kalapul Sub Station and the 11-KV Dharamsala Feeder, power will remain disrupted in several parts of the town on October 23 from 10 am to 5 pm, or till the completion of work. During this time, power supply will remain disrupted in Kotwali Bazar, IPH Complex, MC Office, Yatri Niwas, Zonal Hospital, Ayurvedic Hospital, Judicial Complex, Telephone Exchange, SP Office, DC Office, Depot Bazar, Civil Lines, Ramnagar, Lower TCV, Mahajan Clinic Shamnagar, Police Lines, Ek Jot Colony, Chilgari, Housing Board, Education Board, Akashvani, Degree College, BEd College, Sakoh, Cheliyan, HPCA Stadium, Saraswati Nagar, Civil Lines Civil Bazar, Forensic Lab, Telephone Exchange Narghota, Tea Estate, Petrol Pump (Mann Filling), Gorkha Colony, Housing Colony, Circuit House, Officer Colony Chilgari, McLeodganj Main Square, Dalai Lama Temple, Jogiwara, Heru, Tippa Road, Sanjay Marg and adjoining areas. In case of bad weather, the work would be undertaken the next day.

Kinnaur youth dies in mishap

Rampur: A car rolled down a slope last night in the area under the jurisdiction of the Rampur police station. According to reports, the car met with the accident in the area under the Racholi panchayat of Rampur, near Halog (Jabah). The vehicle had two occupants at the time of the mishap. The car was being driven by Sachin Negi (33). Sachin died on the spot, while the other occupant, Moheshwar, was hurt.
