Power supply to remain disrupted in parts of Kinnaur tomorrow

Executive Engineer (Electricity) Tashi Negi today said that due to the repair work at the 22 kV control point from Karchham to Reckong Peo, power supply would be disrupted in several areas of Kinnaur on September 15 from 9am to 5pm. The affected areas include Powari, Barang, Tangling, Ralli, Shongtong, and Reckong Peo and its nearby regions such as Kalpa, Purbani and Pangi.

The disruption will affect 22 kV control points of Reckong Peo, Old and New Kinnaur Feeders and the Karchham-Reckong Peo control points. If the work is not completed due to adverse weather conditions, the disruption may continue the next day, Negi added, urging residents to cooperate during the period.
