The Municipal Commissioner’s Court today granted additional time to the HP Waqf Board and the Sanjauli Mosque Committee to produce revenue records of the first two floors of the shrine. The court directed them to submit the records on May 3.

The HP Waqf Board and the Sanjauli Mosque Committee requested the Commissioner’s court for additional time for presenting revenue records and filing a reply. The court granted them additional time and said that if they failed to provide records on May 3, the hearing in the case would be held daily, as the High Court of Himachal had directed it to resolve the matter by May 8.

He directed them to expedite the work to demolish the walls of the third and fourth floors of the mosque.
