PRSI Shimla chapter receives Best Programmer Award in Chhattisgarh

At the event, Shiv Singh Chauhan, a 93-year-old member of the Shimla chapter, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his achievements in the field of mass communication.
This award was received by Shimla chapter president Ranveer Verma. National Scheduled Tribes Commission Former Chairman Nandkumar Sai and Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Government Arun Sao handed out the award.
During the ceremony, “Himachal Pradesh: The Wonderland”, a book written by Shiv Singh Chauhan and published by Publication Society, Shimla chapter, was also released by Sao.
Chauhan retired as the District Public Relations Officer from the Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Himachal Pradesh, in December 1989. Throughout his career, he was known as an efficient and highly respected professional and played an important role in the field of public relations.
