A vibrant district-level art festival Rangotsav was held at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. The event aimed to identify, nurture and promote artistic talent among students while integrating art into the education system.

The festival saw enthusiastic participation from 210 students from 60 schools, showcasing their artistic talents in various categories such as vocal music, dance, visual arts, drama, and traditional storytelling. Rangotsav featured activities like finger and thumb painting, calligraphy, and card-making for primary-level students, while elementary-level students participated in rangoli, 2D painting, and sketching competitions.

The winners received mementos and certificates from Deputy Director of Education Bhagat Singh. The event was attended by DIET Principal Namrata Sharma and the entire staff. Participants from different areas thoroughly enjoyed the art festival and Rangotsav, celebrating their creativity and talent.
