Former Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha and BJP MLA Vipin Singh Parmar launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, calling him the “real vote chor” and also accused the Congress party of running a “vote chor” campaign based on lies and desperation. Talking to the media here on Monday, Parmar said the Congress’s “vote chor” campaign was an outcome of political frustration.

He alleged CM Sukhvinder Sukhu himself symbolises vote theft, as he voted in both Nadaun Assembly seat and Shimla MC elections.

The BJP leader claimed another senior Congress leader in Himachal was found to possess two EPIC voter IDs, exposing what he called an “organised voter fraud racket” within the party. Parmar questioned whether Rahul Gandhi would take action against those Congress leaders who possess two voter cards or vote at two locations. He accused Rahul of insulting the poor by calling them thieves, saying that the real theft was being committed by Congress leaders.
