The absence of rain shelter bus stops at the Lower Ladoh Panchrukhi-Pahra Road in Palampur tehsil of Kangra district has caused a lot of trouble for residents. Many people, including children and the elderly, get drenched in the rain while waiting for busses. The PWD should construct rain shelters as soon as possible to protect people from rain and sharp sun.

Repair causes troubles

The four-laning work of the Pathankot-Kangra road is going at full swing. Due to this, many stretches of the road have been rendered unusable. The contractors carrying out this work should maintain at least two lanes to ensure the smooth flow of traffic to avoid any mishaps.
